Gas power plant explosion in Connecticut

Dozens of casualties reported with thick black smoke visible for miles in Middletown At least two people were killed and dozens more injured today in a large explosion at a gas power plant in Middletown, in the US state of Connecticut. CNN quoted officials who said the toll was expected to rise. Several ambulances and fire engines responded to the explosion at the Kleen Energy Systems plant in Middletown, 23 miles south of the city of Hartford.
